9th World Archaeology Congress Location Announced



The Eighth World Archaeological Congress (WAC-8) was held between 28 August and 2 September 2016 in Kyoto, with more than 1,600 colleagues coming from 83 countries. Peter R. Schmidt was honored by the World Archaeological Congress (WAC) August 30 at a special plenary session at WAC-8 in Kyoto, Japan. He was awarded the prestigious Peter Ucko Memorial Award.
